Three works in epoxy resin over oil and wood, made in 2017. Resin seals the painting beneath a glassy depth: colours seem suspended and reflections follow the viewer.

Resin is not a varnish: it is a thickness that changes perception.
In 2017 Leo Novoro pushed further the search for depth begun with glass: the oil is covered with epoxy resin that traps light. The painting becomes an object, with a surface the eye travels through.
