Leo Novoro’s titles work as keys: Wanted, Ace of Clover, Macrohard, Visa Gold. They borrow from the vocabulary of games, policing, finance and advertising — the four languages that structure contemporary public life.
The painting remains classical in its means: prepared ground, successive layers, reworkings. That craft seriousness is what makes these scenes strange — power is painted here as a noble genre.
