Portraits
12pieces
Twelve painted portraits: public figures, private commissions, family portraits. An art portrait does not copy a photograph: it layers paint until the sitter’s character and living spirit appear.

A portrait, not an effigy
From €1,500 — oil on canvas, classical and contemporary styles.
Leo Novoro’s art portrait works in layers: likeness is achieved not by drawing but by the accumulation of matter and the harmony of colours. The sitter chooses the style, colours and framing; the artist directs the execution in the studio, then the work is shipped insured, in France and abroad.
